2018 Hero Xtreme 200R launched in India; Priced at INR 88,000

Hero Motocorp has revealed the pricing of the upcoming Xtreme 200R for the Indian market. At a price tag of INR 88,000, the upcoming Hero Xtreme 200R has become the most affordable 200cc motorcycle in India. This is a very competitive pricing as compared to its rivals: TVS RTR 200 4V (INR1.03 lakh to 1.17 lakh) and the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 (INR 1.04 lakh to 1.16 lakh). The Xtreme 200R which is built on a reworked CBZ Xtreme platform and gets a new halogen LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, sculpted fuel tank with tank shrouds, and new alloy wheels. It also gets an instrument cluster with analog tachometer and digital display. The Xtreme 200R is powered by a single-cylinder, carburetted, air-cooled, two-valve, 200 cc engine which puts out 18.1 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 17.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.
